简介

Dr Alaa Alahmadi is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the School of Computing, Newcastle University, and a member of the Interdisciplinary Computing and Complex BioSystems (ICOS) research group. Her research lies at the intersection of AI, cognitive science, and healthcare, focusing on ECG monitoring and drug-induced long QT syndrome. She develops explainable AI and novel data visualisation methods to enable accurate interpretation of ECGs, collaborating with clinical and industry partners. Her work has been recognised with awards including MIT Innovators Under 35.
