简介

Alan Kaplan joined the Department of Computer Science as a lecturer in 2014 and became a senior lecturer in 2022. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.S. in Computer Science from Duke University. His career spans academic research to industrial R&D to technology startup/entrepreneurship. He has over twenty-five years experience leading research and product development involving mobile networking applications. Dr. Kaplan is an active volunteer in the IEEE. He currently serves as the Chair of the Steering Committee for the IEEE Consumer Communications and Network Conference (IEEE CCNC).At Princeton, Dr. Kaplan focuses most of his time as one of the co-instructors of COS 126.
