简介

Dr Aydin Abadi is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity at Newcastle University's School of Computing, where he leads the Cryptography and AI Security Lab. His research focuses on developing cryptographic and privacy-preserving technologies for AI, blockchain, financial technology, and trustworthy digital systems. He works on privacy-preserving federated learning, secure multi-party computation, private set intersection, and post-quantum cryptography. His work has been recognized with awards including the UK-US Privacy Enhancing Technologies Prize Challenge in 2023.
