Dr Carolina Quintero Rodriguez (CText FTI) is a Senior Lecturer and Program Manager of the Bachelor of Fashion (Enterprise) program at RMIT University, with qualifications and practice experience in the industry of over 20 years in the field of product design and development. Fellow of the Textile Institute. Carolina's research and practice are concerned with the key design considerations relevant to the engineering of functional clothing, designed to fulfil the specific functional and comfort requirements of wearers through the understanding of the properties of the materials for the specific end-use. Carolina's interests also explore the potential of diverse education and industry collaborations for learning and teaching and research, as well as establishing and strengthening connections
