For over 25 years I have conducted cutting-edge research applying mathematical techniques to solve challenging real-world problems. I am a member of the Signal Processing Group. I have expertise in a broad range of mathematical techniques, most notably Bayesian inference, information theory, data fusion, target tracking, sensor management, dynamic optimisation, pattern recognition, time-series analysis, machine learning, anomaly detection, game theory, data mining, and non-parametric statistics. I hold B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics, am a Chartered Mathematician, and am a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (FIMA).
