Dr Martin Warner

In 2002 I completed an undergraudate degree in Sport and Exercise and Science and subsequently completed a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Science on the Biomechanics pathway in 2003 at University College Chictester. I began working at the University of Southampton in 2004 as a laboratory technician for Sport Science. A year later I obtained the post of Experimental Officer for the School of Health Professions and Rehabilitation Science (which later became the School of Health Sciences). In this role I was responsible for management of the research laboratories and began developing a research profile. I undertook my PhD in shoulder biomechanics, part-time, whilst in this role. Following completion of my PhD in 2012, I became a Senior Research Fellow in the Arthritis Research UK Centre
