I received my BSc degree in Information and Computing Science from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, followed by an MSc in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Liverpool. I then completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Liverpool under the supervision of Prof. Simon Maskell and Prof. Rahul Savani. My doctoral research focused on surveillance analytics, with particular emphasis on numerical optimisation, machine learning, and Bayesian inference for target tracking. After completing my PhD, I moved to the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (EEE) at the University of Liverpool as a Post-doctoral Research Associate (PDRA).
