Eli Barzilay is a part-time lecturer at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. He earned his doctorate in computer science from Cornell University and received both his bachelor’s and master’s in computer science from Ben Gurion University in Israel. Barzilay’s research areas include formal methods, software engineering, and his main field of research and teaching is programming languages. He is a native of Ein-HaBesor, Israel, and is a member of the Programming Research Laboratory at Northeastern. Barzilay is interested in programming languages of all kinds and has studied computer music and applied logic.
