Gaomin Liu

Gaomin Liu is a Lecturer at RMIT University and holds a PhD in Business and Economics from the University of Melbourne. She also holds a Master’s degree from the University of Melbourne and an MPhil degree from the University of Cambridge. Before joining RMIT University, Gaomin worked across academia and consulting, contributing to projects on strategy and innovation management for multinational enterprises. Her research focuses on strategy, innovation, sustainability transitions, and international business, with particular interests in how organisations navigate technological uncertainty and emerging industries. Her work has been recognised through several competitive awards, including the Best Dissertation-Based Paper Award at the Academy of Management (AoM) conference and the BPISC Best
