Hangbo Yang is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. His research focuses on integrated photonic circuits, with special emphasis on front-end photonic neural network processors, photonic 3D heterogeneous integration, LiDAR chips, photonic transceivers, and AR/VR waveguides and optical engines.
