Hulgize is a Research Specialist in the tile of lab manager at the FREEDM Systems Center, a smart grid research center headquartered at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, he manages the 1MVA capability lab in addition to multiple high-capacity battery storage, solar energy, and multiple EV charge stations connected to the lab projects His priority is safety and likes to assist students from undergrad to doctoral researchers in all fields, mechanical or electrical. Hulgize works closely with industry partners in the center. He holds a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology and an MS in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
