Jackie Chi Kit Cheung is an Associate Professor at McGill University's School of Computer Science and a Canada CIFAR AI Chair at Mila. His research group focuses on natural language processing, developing computational models of human languages to build useful NLP systems. They investigate machine learning techniques for language prediction and analyze NLP systems using insights from linguistics and psychology, also proposing challenge datasets and evaluation measures.
