Jiaee Cheong

简介

Jiaee is a PhD student (2020 - ) interested in exploring machine learning methods which are well-tailored towards understanding human emotions, behaviour and decision-making. Her research investigates bias and fairness of machine learning methods as applied to the field of affect recognition. She is currently focusing on visual sources and hopes to extend this to other modalities such as audio inputs and physiological signals. Her main research centres upon causal reasoning and extends towards algorithm interpretability and explainability.
