Kenneth Ross is a Professor in the Computer Science Department at Columbia University. His research interests include database systems, query processing, query language design, data warehousing, and architecture-sensitive database system design. He also has an interest in computational biology, including the analysis of large genomic data sets. He received his PhD from Stanford University and has received several awards including a Packard Foundation Fellowship, a Sloan Foundation Fellowship, and an NSF Young Investigator award.
