Dr. MD Jakir Hossain is a Lecturer in Cybersecurity at Newcastle University, UK. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2021 and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCiE) from Staffordshire University in 2022. With over 15 years of experience in higher education, he has held academic positions across institutions in the UK, China, and Bangladesh. His research focuses on designing secure, intelligent, and privacy-preserving solutions for next-generation digital systems, including applied cryptography, secure authentication protocols, AI for cybersecurity, IoT security, cloud security, and quantum cryptography.
