I am Professor of Bioinspired Machine Learning at the University of Sheffield. My research combines computational neuroscience, machine learning, and neuromorphic engineering to understand how biological systems achieve efficient and adaptive intelligence, and to use these insights in brain-inspired computing. Recent work in my group focuses on brain-inspired learning algorithms, physical and device-based neural networks, and emerging neuromorphic technologies for efficient artificial intelligence.
