Professor Po Yang is Professor of Pervasive Intelligence in the School of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield, where he also serves as Deputy Director of Research and Innovation. He obtained his BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Wuhan University, China, an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Bristol, and a PhD in Electronic Engineering from Staffordshire University. Since 2015, Professor Yang has established and led successful research teams at Liverpool John Moores University (2015–2019) and subsequently at the University of Sheffield (2019–present). He also serves as an Independent Scientific Advisor for the BridgeAI programme at the Alan Turing Institute.Professor Yang has extensive research expertise in pervasive and mobile intelligence, conducting interdiscipl
