Brief Bio: Since 2017 I have been a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Automation at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, where I served as department chair from 2023 to 2026. From 2007 to 2017, I was a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In 2007, I earned a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison★, and in 2001 a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Bombay.
