Amritanshu Pandey Adjunct Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering Contact Address 5000 Forbes Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15213 Amrit Pandey is Special Faculty in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department with a courtesy appointment in the Engineering and Public Policy Department. He pioneered the development of circuit-theoretic power system simulation and optimization framework during his doctoral work at Carnegie Mellon (graduated 2019), which culminated in the development of a new simulation engine: Simulation of Unified Grid Analysis and Renewables (SUGAR). He has published numerous papers in the field of power systems simulation and optimization, including a best paper award-winning submission on SUGAR at the IEEE PES General Meeting in 2017.
