Are reviews really anonymous?+

Yes. Nobody — including admins — can see who wrote a review. Academic emails are used only for verification and are never displayed.

What is a gold-verified review?+

A review posted by an account verified with an academic email (.edu / .ac.uk / .edu.cn, …). Gold reviews carry twice the weight in the weighted score.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. Cancel anytime from subscription management — access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Where does the data come from?+

Advisor profiles are sourced from public university and institution pages, regularly crawled and verified. The verification date is shown on each profile.

How do you keep ratings trustworthy?+

Three mechanisms: anonymity, academic verification, and Bayesian weighting. Small samples shrink toward the global mean, gold reviews carry higher weight, and abusive reviews can be reported for moderation.
