Dr. Brian D. Davison is the Daniel E. ’39 and Patricia M. Smith Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and a co-founder of Lehigh's Center for Catastrophe Modeling and Resilience. He was a founding co-director of the interdisciplinary Master's Program in Data Science and the founding director of Lehigh's undergraduate minor in data science, and was previously an associate director of the Institute for Data, Intelligent Systems and Computation (I-DISC). He teaches courses on data science, web search engines, and data mining, among others.
