Carl Bernard is an associate teaching professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University. He teaches a variety of courses in the department including ECE 3250 (Mathematics of Signals and Systems), ECE 3100 (Introduction to Probability), ECE 3400 (ECE Practice and Design), ECE 4370 (Fiber and Integrated Optics), and ECE 4110 (Random Signals in Communications & Signal processing), with new courses soon, and is involved with his research. Carl received his B.Sc. Summa Cum Laude in physics from the University of Québec in Montréal in 1998, a M.Sc. in telecommunications from the National Institute for Scientific Research also in Montréal in 2001, a M.Sc. in electrical and computer engineering from Cornell University in 2004 and a Ph.D. also from Cornell in 2006
