Chen Greif is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia. His research interests include scientific computing, numerical linear algebra, iterative solvers and preconditioning techniques for sparse linear systems, numerical solution of saddle-point linear systems, and numerical solution of elliptic partial differential equations. He is a SIAM Fellow and recipient of the CAIMS-SCMAI Research Prize.
