Constantinos Costa was a Visiting Research Scholar and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Advanced Data Management Technologies Lab (ADMT) and holds a PhD from the University of Cyprus (UCY). Until recently, he was a researcher at the Department of Computer Science (UCY) and a member of the Data Management Systems Laboratory (DMSL). His primary research interests include big data management in parallel and distributed architectures, spatio-temporal data management, urban informatics, network and telco data management. Constantinos has contributed extensively to open source projects for indoor navigation, crowd messaging and telco big data.
