Despina Apostolska is a research development officer in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. Apostolska’s goal is to help Khoury faculty submit winning research proposals; this entails identifying funding opportunities, developing and distributing resources, and supporting events like Research Mondays and CAREER Club. With a background in project management for software development and marketing communications teams, she brings a wide range of skills to her role, such as developing project plans, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities, monitoring progress, and leading cross-functional teams.
