Devki is a technologist with both academic and industrial experience in research, development and teaching. Currently, he is a Lecturer of Computing and a member of the Networked and Ubiquitous Systems Engineering (NUSE) group at the School of Computing, Newcastle University. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oxford e-Research Centre, University of Oxford where he worked on the Trusted Public Cloud project. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Newcastle University in 2021. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Trust and security and Machine Learning. He was also involved in the design and development of multiple IoT simulators.
