I am a Research Associate at the ALTA institute (Automated Language Teaching and Assessment) and NLIP group and hold a doctoral degree in Information Science from Tohoku University (Japan). My research interests include Natural Language Processing, particularly knowledge acquisition and applications of NLP to education such as feedback generation for L2 (second language) learners. Beyond my research, I'm an active member of the University's Archery and Handball sports clubs.
