Dr WEN Zhiyuan

About

Zhiyuan is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at PolyU. His current research interest is integrating personality and emotion into LLM-based dialog systems to enable conversational AI to generate human-like responses. He has published papers in Top journals and conferences such as ACM TOIS, IPM, IJCAI, ACL Findings, EMNLP Findings, and PerCom. He got his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Jiannong Cao. During his Ph.D. study, he visited (duration: 2021.09.01~2022.03.01) the THUNLP lab in Tsinghua University, under the supervision of Prof. Maosong Sun. Before that, he had a 5-month internship at Huawei, Shenzhen; Dr. Jieming Zhu was his mentor.
