Dr XIA Xianjin

About

Dr Xia received his BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China in 2010, 2013, and 2018 respectively. He has been a visiting research student in RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia during January 2015 - January 2016. Before joining PolyU as the Research Assistant Professor, he was a Postdoc researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University during August 2018 - February 2021. His research interests include Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Communication, Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWANs), Mobile Computing, Localization, etc. He has published papers in top-rank conferences (e.g. ACM SenSys, IEEE INFOCOM) and journals (e.g. IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking).
