About

Felix Heide is interested in the theory and application of computational imaging and computer vision systems. Researching imaging, vision and display systems end-to-end, Felix's work lies at the intersection of optics, machine learning, optimization, computer graphics and computer vision. Felix has co-authored over 30 publications and filed 6 patents. He received his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia under the advisement of Professor Wolfgang Heidrich. He obtained his MSc from the University of Siegen, and was a postdoc at Stanford University. His doctoral dissertation won the Alain Fournier Ph.D. Dissertation Award and the SIGGRAPH outstanding doctoral dissertation award.
