Herman Lam is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. He serves as the UF Site Director for the NSF SHREC Center. His research focuses on high-performance heterogeneous computing, reconfigurable computing, and computer architecture. He has received several awards including the 2018 Dell EMC AI Challenge and the 2012 National Science Foundation Alexander Schwarzkopf Prize for Technology Innovation.
