Husnain Sherazi is an Associate Professor at the School of Computing, Newcastle University, with over 12 years of experience in Computer Science and self-sustained IoT systems. He serves as Director of Student Recruitment, Business, Innovation, and Skills, and Employability Lead. His research focuses on intelligent and energy-efficient communication systems, including IoT, IoV, drones, industrial automation, edge and quantum computing, and blockchain-based trust systems. He has published over 60 articles and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
