Jeffrey A. Turkstra grew up in Grand Haven, Michigan. He graduated a Distinguished Academic Leader from Grand Haven High School in May of 2000. He received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University in May of 2004. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2007 and 2013, respectively, also from Purdue University.
