Joe Stacey

Joe undertook his PhD at Imperial College London, where his research focused on improving the robustness and interpretability of NLP models. He was supervised by Marek Rei, and was a recipient of the 2023 Apple Scholars in AI/ML PhD fellowship. Prior to this, Joe completed his MSc at University College London, where his thesis on model debiasing was supervised by Pasquale Minervini and Tim Rocktäschel. He has also previously worked as a management consultant at PwC and as a secondary school maths teacher with Teach First.
