Over 30 years of academic, industrial, and entrepreneurial experience in the field of power electronics, power semiconductor devices, renewable energy systems, fault protection of DC and AC microgrids, and transportation electrification.Over 300 journal and conference papers (received two IEEE Transaction Prize Paper awards), several book chapters, and 18 granted U.S. patents.Fellow of the U.S. National Academy of Inventors and Fellow of IEEE in 2010. Recipient of the 2012 IEEE Region 3 Outstanding Engineer Award, the 2012 E. T.
