Katepalli R. Sreenivasan is a Professor of Physics and Mathematics at NYU Courant, and holds the Eugene Kleiner Professorship for Innovation in Mechanical Engineering. He serves as Executive Vice Provost for Engineering and Applied Sciences, President of the Tandon School of Engineering, and Dean of Engineering at NYU. His research interests span fluid mechanics, statistical and nonlinear physics, and applied mathematics, with additional interests in higher education and science in developing countries.
