About

I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State. I earned my B.S. from the University of Florida in 2018, my M.S. from Boston University in 2022, and my Ph.D. from Boston University in 2023, all in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining NC State, I served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology from 2023 - 2025. The ultimate goal of my research is to design algorithms that enable the safe deployment of robotic and autonomous systems in real-world environments. Towards this goal, I leverage and unite tools from control theory, robotics, formal methods, and machine learning to create safer and more intelligent autonomous systems. My work emphasizes the development of rigorous theory to provide provable guarantees o
