Nishanth Jay Kumar

About

Nishanth is a Ph.D. student with the LIS Group within MIT CSAIL. He is co-advised by Leslie Kaelbling and Tomás Lozano-Pérez. Nishanth's work is supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. During his PhD, Nishanth has spent time at Meta FAIR, NVIDIA Research and the Robotics and AI Institute. In the past, he's been at Vicarious AI, and Uber ATG. Previously, he received an S.M. degree from MIT, an Sc.B. with honors from Brown University, and completed the IB Diploma in his hometown of Coimbatore, India.
