Prof. GUO Jingcai

About

Prof. Guo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics. He received his Ph.D., M.Phil., and B.Eng. degrees from PolyU, Waseda University, and Sichuan University, respectively, all in computer science and AI. From 2021 to 2022, he did postdoctoral training at the University of Sydney, where he was also a visiting/exchange Ph.D. from 2019 to 2020. He is generally interested in efficient- and edge-native AI, targeting learning/modelling with limited resources in terms of data, computing capability, as well as their applications across a wide spectrum.
