Prof. XIAO Bin

About

Prof. Bin Xiao is currently a Professor in the Dept. of Computing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received the B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Electronics Engineering from Fudan University, China, and Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of Texas at Dallas, USA. After his Ph.D. graduation, he joined the Department of Computing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor. He has been the director of the Mobile Cloud Computing Lab in the department. Since 2018, he has been the Dept. Research Committee (DRC) chair to be responsible for the dept. research activity. His research interests include AI and network security, data privacy, and blockchain systems, with the focus on AI security and applications, learning model security, data privacy, blockchain and
