Sherif Khattab is a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, University of Pittsburgh. Sherif has taught numerous undergraduate and graduate courses, including security courses with a special interest in hands-on ethical hacking courses. His research focuses on the systems aspects of cybersecurity as applied to cloud computing, Internet-of-Things, electronic voting, and Big Data. Sherif has an h-index of 13 (Google Scholar Index) and 10 (Scopus Index) with 60+ publications and he has successfully supervised 15+ graduate students. Prior to Pitt, Sherif was an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University.
