About

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). I have recently completed a term as Deputy Head of School (2023 - 2025) and was previously Director of Education (2020 – 2022) and Director of Postgraduate Studies (2018-2020). As a member of the EPiC (Educational Practice in Computing) research group I regularly participate in working groups at ITiCSE relating to team project assessment and instructor perspectives, and currently co-lead a CPHC special grant CoCoNet building a network for best practice in individual dissertation projects.
