Dr. Surya Santoso is a Professor and holds the Engineering Foundation Centennial Teaching Fellowship in Electrical Engineering No. 2 in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He earned his B.S in Electrical Engineering from Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga, Indonesia in 1992 and M.S.E and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and 1996. He was a postdoctoral fellow under the auspices of Electric Power Research Institute in 1997. He was Senior Power Systems and Consulting Engineer with Electrotek Concepts in Knoxville, TN from 1997 until 2003. He joined the faculty of The University of Texas at Austin in 2003.
